Hasnat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, has warned against officials taking bribes from land offices. On Monday (September 9), he posted a warning to the land office officials on his Facebook wall. Within 9 minutes of posting, the post received more than fifty shares, thousands of comments and 13,000 likes and loves.

In a Facebook post, he wrote - 'Due to the reduction in the level of bribery in the land office, there is a reluctance of the employees and the work has been slowed down. If the land office staff shows reluctance and slows down the work due to lack of habit of bribery, it shows their lack of professional responsibility. For those who lack professional responsibility, it is the government's responsibility to think of alternatives. Those of you who have procrastinated, there is still time, beware. Or your replacement will come.'

Meanwhile, on Sunday (September 8), Hasnat Abdullah spoke at an exchange meeting with the general students of Chittagong University (CU) about the reform of the state after the mass uprising of the students. More than 500 students participated in organizing anti-discrimination student movement at the Faculty of Sociology auditorium of the university.

Hasnat Abdullah said in the exchange meeting, the politics that has been practiced in the campus till now was laziness. But we want politics that will benefit students, society and people of the country. Without student politics we cannot claim our rights.

Hasnat Abdullah also said, if we do not do healthy politics, another fascist will be born. We have to break out of the traditional way. That is, another doctrine must be created against the conventional doctrine. For that, every one of our ‘24 movement has to take responsibility.
